The support acts however made sure to bring all the vibes in the build up to the main event, starting with LA based DJ KidCutUp, who did an admirable job of kicking off the night with an eclectic mix of both old and new bangers to put the expectant crowd in the mood. The area outside the ground was reminiscent of a music festival, with colourful outfits everywhere and long lines of fans stretching as far as the eye could see. ![]() ![]() Even upon the approach to the famous football ground, you could feel the anticipation in the air with huge groups of fans enjoying drinks in the sun, belting out their favourite Pink ballads and generally creating a carnival atmosphere. Villa Park may sound like a strange choice of venue for such an accomplished artist, but having been to Utilita and Resorts World Arenas multiple times I must admit, I've never felt an atmosphere quite like this before. It seems like the internet has been losing its mind recently over the American singer's latest tour and admittedly, I couldn't quite understand the fanfare. It's not often a music event has had as much hype behind its build up as Pink's Summer Carnival. ![]()
